Georgetown ISD trustee Stephanie Blanck resigned from the school board Monday, Jan.
12 to focus on family and other responsibilities. The board appointed Laura Kincheloe (a GISD graduate and registered nurse) to fill her seat until the May 4 board election.
🏛️ Government
The Williamson County Commissioners Court approved a county-level tax break for Taiwan-based Pegatron Technologies, LLC on Tuesday, Jan.
6 — following the City of Georgetown's tax incentive granted last month. The break reduces 30 percent of the project’s assessed value under set conditions.
