ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Off-duty Georgetown firefighter Kurt Lentz, 33, was killed in a crash on Hwy 29 west of Wolf Ranch Parkway on April 11—his death is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety—and a celebration of life service for him will be held on April 17 at Celebration Church.  FOX 7
  • A house exploded in north Austin on Sunday, injuring six people including two firefighters and damaging about two dozen homes as residents from over 15 miles away, including those from Georgetown, gathered at the scene while investigators work to determine the cause.  KXAN
