The Williamson County Sun marked its 150th year by publishing Issue 1 of Volume 150 on Tuesday, May 19 — Williamson County Commissioners Court honored the milestone with a proclamation.

The groundbreaking for a new YMCA facility at 6200 Williams Drive is set for fiscal year 27 as part of the city's Capital Improvement Project, with cost shared by city + YMCA after voter approval in the 2023 bond election.
