- ➤ A bill to ban cellphones during the school day in Texas public schools passed both chambers and is headed to Gov. Greg Abbott’s desk for his signature. Local school districts will choose where to store phones — such as lockers, secure pouches or charging stations — and will set discipline rules as the law takes effect Sept. 1 if signed. KXAN
- ➤ Restaurants and attractions in Central Texas are offering rewards to K-12 students who show official 2025 report cards with high grades. Students with three A’s at Typhoon Texas Waterpark get free entry through June 4 + additional offers from Krispy Kreme, Chuck E.
