GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed several bills on June 24 that ease gun restrictions by banning red flag orders and preventing local governments from hosting gun buyback programs + the laws also remove certain short-barrel firearms from the illegal list and recognize out-of-state handgun licenses. The new changes will take effect on Sept. 1. FOX 7
