- ➤ In July, about 150 Georgetown volunteers gathered over two days to clean up flood-damaged San Gabriel Park as they cleared debris from pavilions and leveled wood-chip surfaces on the playscape. Their work helped restore the park following severe floodwaters. The Williamson County Sun
- ➤ Mattress Mack and Gallery Furniture are hosting a giveaway of 400 mattresses for flood victims impacted by the July 4 floods; Gallery Furniture will hand out the mattresses—on a first-come, first-served basis—on Saturday, August 9 at Lago Vista High School from 7-9 a.m. while affected households must show a valid driver’s license and bring a truck or van.
