American Legion members of Abe Harrison Post 174 held an installation and awards event on August 13 in Georgetown.
District 10 Commander Tim Moore installed two newly elected officers while recognizing longtime members + highlighting the service of veterans.
🎓 Education
Four founding members of Georgetown Scouts BSA Troop 4050 (Arnia Venkatesan, Claire Sugamele, Damien DeLeon and Savannah Heron) officially achieved Eagle Scout rank.
The troop formed in 2019 when Boy Scouts began welcoming girls and continues to promote leadership, outdoor adventure and community service.
