- ➤ Georgetown Police officers met and shared a meal with residents at the Stonehaven site on Tuesday, October 7 — an event held to build trust during National Night Out. The Williamson County Sun
- ➤ On October 7, a fundraiser at Mulligan’s Restaurant in Sun City raised $100,000 for Meals on Wheels at the Madella Hillard Senior Center when Women Helping Others met a $50,000 goal & matching funds were applied to support hot meal services for nearly 500 seniors. - ➤ On October 8, church members, high school volunteers, and Southwestern University students helped unload more than 3,000 pumpkins weighing 46,000 pounds at Georgetown First United Methodist Church—pumpkins that arrived from the Navajo Nation and will be available until Halloween.
