  • Grace Episcopal Church held a Blessing of the Animals service at Booty's Road Park on October 5th; church leaders blessed pets and their owners while lunch was served at the park pavilion to honor Saint Francis of Assisi.  The Williamson County Sun
  • The Woodshed in Granger is a repurposed former hardware store that now serves as a creative recording studio for musicians, filmmakers and podcasters. Founders Mark Matoska and Lee Weaver held a ribbon cutting in 2022 to mark its new beginning.  The Williamson County Sun

  • The Wilco Extension Office says oak trees in Williamson County are facing a growing health crisis as diseases like bacterial scorch on red oaks and Tar spot on live oaks continue to affect tree health—prompting concerns among local homeowners.  The Williamson County Sun

  • Florence resident Larry Clayman—an 85-year-old retired rodeo clown, bullfighter, and announcer—will be inducted into the National Rodeo Hall of Fame on November 7-8 after serving as guest of honor at his annual Clayman’s Rodeo in Georgetown.  The Williamson County Sun
