Bartlett Prop B (bond)25.53%
Bartlett Prop C (bond)26.78%
Bastrop Prop A (VATRE)33.67%

If you voted Tuesday, you were in good company. Voters in Bastrop, Del Valle, Georgetown, Leander, and Round Rock ISDs opposed increasing tax rates meant to pay for staff raises and offset rising costs. FOX 7 rounded up the results: no tax rate election passed in Central Texas, and Manor ISD was the only district to pass a bond.

  • Only bond that passed: Manor ISD
  • Bastrop ISD's proposed rate: $1.0809
  • Bartlett ISD asked for a $1.2804 total rate
  • Bartlett's bonds: up to $4.3 million in refunding
  • Austin ISD had five school board seats on the ballot

Bastrop ISD's Prop A got 33.67% of the vote. All three of Bartlett ISD's propositions failed too. FOX 7's roundup we have doesn't include Georgetown ISD's own vote count.

“Election results are in, and unfortunately, Proposition A did not pass, receiving 33.67% of the vote.”

Dr. Kristi Lee, Bastrop ISD superintendent
